Previously, he managed the Innovation process at Metalsa, a leading company in the Design and Manufacture of structural components for light vehicles and commercial trucks. In 1992 he joined Metalsa as a Technology Engineer and through the years he has escalated and led the areas of Product Engineering and Technology and Technical Centers.

He continued his Master's studies in Business Administration and Manufacturing Systems at the same institution. His experience in the industrial sector includes his work at Emerson Electric, where he held various positions in industrial engineering, international trade, finance, human resources and materials in North America. He also worked at Cummins Inc., where he was responsible for several areas, such as Acquisition, Information Technology (IT), Operations, Engineering and General Management for its businesses in Brazil and Mexico. His experience also includes his work as Administrative Vice President of an Asian sanitary equipment company and as a director of a multinational manufacturer and marketer of cooling towers in America. He lived in Sao Paulo, Brazil for 4 years, serving as General Director of the Brazilian Filtration and Emissions business units, traveling throughout South America. He is a member of Technical Committee 5.3 in Systems Integration and Enterprise Networks of the International Federation of Automation and Control (IFAC), Technical Committees 5.7 in Advanced Production Systems and 5.12 in Architectures for Enterprise Integration of the International Federation of Information Processing (IFIP), and the Society for Engineering and Technology Management and the Internet Community of Things of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). He also contributes to the agenda of the Council for the Future of Advanced Manufacturing and Production of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and is an Ambassador for the World Manufacturing Forum (WMF).
